Counseling Internship and Teaching Practicum is one of the core courses in B.Ed. Guidance and Counseling cum teacher education. It runs for 16 weeks. Students will gain clinical experiences to enable them to improve their application of the theories and knowledge gained from the program in actual work settings while at the same time exploring teacher practices. Continuous guidance will be given by experienced counselors and also their university supervisors which will enable the trainee counsellor to function according to the 1998 Counsellor Act ( Act 580).
