This course provides students with the tools to understand what is propaganda and persuasion and its relations with international politics. It offers a comprehensive guide to the history and development of propaganda and its challenges. It also focusses on the role of propaganda and how it is being used by states and governments. It also discusses the usage of the traditional and new propaganda medias and issues surrounding its implementation.

DN243 GFPP5374 KUMP A SEMINAR ON ISSUES IN DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
This course is part of the Master of Science (Strategic Studies) elective courses, specially designs to cater the needs and demands of students attach to relevant organisations work closely with diplomacy and international relations. It re-visits significant concepts and theories in international relations and diplomacy in the context of current international environment. The aim is to examine and assess the causes, impacts, limitations and the prospect of resolutions of various international issues and diplomacy against this background. As it is a seminar module, the course relies primarily on discussions to facilitate the learning process and to provide a better understanding of those issues.
