DC242 SSYP5113 KUMP W PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING AND ASSESSMENT

This course is an advanced course on the fundamentals of test and measurement. This course will focus on discussion the main principles of testing and assessment, psychometric issues, construction and use of testing and assessment in the field of psychological counseling. Topics to be discussed include the construction of norm testing, item analysis, reliability and validity of the test, factor analysis and test construction process and assessment of data for evaluation and diagnosis. This course will discuss various types of tests and assessments used by professionals in the field of counseling psychology in particular by focusing on ethics, compliance and construction norms in every aspect of behavior that are measured and assessed.
