This course aims to expose students to the concepts and theories behind the formulation of public policy as well as the implementation of policies that have been decided upon. Generally, this course is divided into three main components which are the concepts and models of decision-making from the perspective of politics; the policy actors; and the influence of the economic system in the formulation of public policy. The students will also be exposed to various public policies within Malaysian and global context.
