This course aims to expose students to the financial landscape and system, not just globally, but specifically focusing on Malaysia. This course discusses the financial system development and growth, based on function and type of financial institutions, funds and cash flows activities, economic development and current issues related to financial markets and institutions. Activities in financial markets also have direct effects on personal wealth, the behavior of businesses and consumers, and the cyclical performance of the economy.
