This course introduces students to human resource management. It emphasizes functions of human resource management and their importance to organizations. It highlights the role of a human resource manager in managing strategically human resources in an organization to develop and maintain its competitive advantage in the global marketplace. In addition, this course explores and discusses current issues in human resource management in Malaysia.
