This course explores a brief discussion on the concept, theory development, and perspective of the mass media theory. This course will help student to familiar with the principles and central idea of important theories in mass media disciplines. Theories of the media organized accordingly by media and message processing, media and relationship development, media in groups and organizations, media in business and marketing, media and formation of attitude, media effects and audiences, media, culture and society, and computer-mediated communication.
