This is one of the core courses for Information Technology & Multimedia undergraduate programme. It covers the introduction of set theory and operations, logic, mathematical induction, computing, probability, relations and digraphs, functions, tree and machine.

This course aims to provide students with broad comprehension on the evolution of management philosophy and thoughts. It comprises the topics that related to management philosophy, thought, and theories development from the historical perspectives, behavioral perspectives, contemporary management perspective, and era of dynamic engagement perspective. The current management issues will be discussed based on the selected articles from the academic journal and related sources.

This course is designed to expose students to the legal aspects of conducting business, particularly cross-border businesses activities that emerge as a response to globalisation. It offers students with the opportunity to examine the main areas of global business law by using case study and legal provisions in order to enhance their knowledge and understanding. The discussion in this course are divided into four main areas. Firstly, the course introduces students to the relationship between law and business, legal environment of global business, the legal structures of conducting business and law of agency. Secondly, the course studies the law governing the sale of goods at both domestic and international level. This is followed with an examination on the legal modes of financing, such as bills of exchange, cheques and letter of credit. Thirdly, the course examines the regulation of business activities in the global environment. This covers several areas of study, namely the regulation of international trade under the World Trade Organization (WTO), the application of competition law and international protection of intellectual property. The last part of the course exposes students to various dispute settlement mechanisms, in particular those available at international level in addressing global business disputes.

This course will introduce students to philosophy and its branches such as metaphysics, theory of knowledge, meaning of ethics, and values of religious, social and political philosophy. Students will also learn philosophical views of religion besides identifying the differences in meaning of life in todays societies. Students will also be exposed to in-depth analysis on issues which are normally accepted without much questioning. Students will also be exposed to philosophical ideas of Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, and modern thinkers from both the West and the East.

This course compares the prevalent schools of thought in Islamic, Western and Eastern philosophies. In addition, this course will also discuss the challenges in contemporary philosophy and offer the issues in comparative philosophy.

This course aims to expose students to the adventure activities that include the types of equipment, weapons safety and signal difficult. Students will be exposed to methods of compass and map reading, create pilot projects such as building a control tower and a bridge, and a method for making gadget.

This course aims to expose students to the history, the policy and the development of global and national scouting and leadership skills as a team leader and head of the unit. Students also need to implement the requirements in teacher training, advanced training and leadership training retreat.

This course aims to expose students to the police, the structure and function of the world scout movement and development of adults in Scouting. Students will also be exposed to the administration at the national scouting organization.

This course aims to expose students about prioritization organization, history and the importance in country development. Students also will be exposed about Malaysia Prison Department and the basic of volunteerism, acts, acts and rule, and the law of prison and marching training.
