Practicum is an off-campus experiential learning activity designed to allow students to make connections between the theory and practice of academic study and the practical application of that study in a professional work environment. This course provides exposure in education in this country from a historical perspective and philosophy and from the time of tradition until today. From the historical aspect, we will study the element of continuity and the change in educational activities, and the causes and consequences that arise from an event. From the philosophical aspect, the study is about the concepts, theories, the principles and the thoughts behind the educational practice. In addition, the course will also examine the impact of major philosophical flows and its relevance to education.

The psychology of learning course will provide the student with a strong grounding in educational psychology and applying psychological theories and principles to the context of education. Educational psychology is a broad field that draws upon multiple perspectives to help explain and understand human functioning and behavior. This course will allow the student to explore psychology's core areas, specifically in relation to education, including biological, cognitive, social, and developmental psychology. It will also encourage the student to consider the importance of knowledge of individual differences and how to develop human motivation. The application of the theories provides opportunities to experience how these developmental dan learning theories impact teaching and learning processes. This course provides useful information to the future teacher to apply psychological theories to create effective teaching and meaningful learning experience.
