This course prepares students on how to manage a music production mainly on producing an album. It covers from the managing of an artist up to the usage of new technology in promoting an album. Students will learn the connection of managing the artist, finance, legal, and promotional component in producing an album.

This course is designed for students to learn both practical and theoretical knowledge in constructing digital environment models for computer games, film and television. It is a complex interdisciplinary subject of artistic expression and technological understanding, requiring an open creative mindset from students. Throughout the course, there will be several projects to help students build problem solving abilities toward the subject in an incremental way. Each project requires the students to combine theoretical and practical approaches in producing the solution.

This course will guide students to understand the director's creative role in managing the entire animation process. An animation director does not simply direct animation. He or she directs people who animate and must be equally able to relate to the crew, producers, writers, creators, and clients. Students will learn how to (i) direct commercials, TV series, feature films, Web features and series, (ii) create realistic schedules, (iii) assemble the crew and (iv) build relationships with producers, creators, writers, and network executives

The course is intended to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills in basic management functions and skills, developing interactive media applications, and evaluating interactive media applications. In particular, the course aims at ensuring students to understand about the nature and modalities, the production resources, the environments, and tools for Interactive Media production. In addition, the course also aims at ensuring the quality of interactive media applications as well as their usability aspects.

This course is designed to equip students with basic knowledge and skills of the recent VR technology and management skills. It includes topics related to basic understanding and concepts behind the technological aspect and managing VR projects. It also discusses notable VR applications in various domains. It continues to discuss generic major process for developing a VR application and typical architecture of VR systems available. It also emphasizes topics on managing VR project resources, testing and maintenance which are essentials in order to sustain the life cycle of a VR application.

The course aims to provide students with an understanding of the nature of English morphological patterns and the rules related to English syntax. Students will analyse the underlying rules governing word formation and grammatical structures. Students will also be required to conduct group presentations where they have to apply their knowledge in the fields of morphology and syntax. Practical exercises are also given to enable students to apply the rules of word formation and analyze grammatical structures in the form of structural drawing. The highlight of the course will be a written report, an ongoing assignment, in which students will analyse and write about the morphological and syntactical processes involved in a chosen linguistic data set, while incorporating their personal responses and reflections in the process.

Kursus ini bertujuan memberi pengetahuan secara menyeluruh kepada pelajar berkaitan bidang sosiolinguistik. Perbincangan tentang hubungan bahasa bermula daripada peringkat yang paling kecil, iaitu antara individu sehinggalah peringkat masyarakat, negara dan seterusnya peringkat antarabangsa. Ini termasuklah topik kepelbagaian bahasa, dialek, diglosia, kedwibahasaan, bahasa dan identiti budaya, serta perancangan bahasa. Isu-isu semasa berkaitan hubungan bahasa dengan masyarakat dan budaya juga akan dibincangkan.

This course prepares students to solve problems in computing with applications in business, engineering, mathematics, the social and physical sciences and many other fields. Students study discrete, finite and countably infinite structures: logic and proofs, sets, naming systems, in particular, number systems, relations, functions, sequences, graphs, and combinatorics. These topics are commonly used when reasoning about problems and developing correct algorithmic solutions for them.
