A232 GHZP5173 KUMP A SEMINAR IN EMERGING ISSUES IN TOURISM
This course enables students to discuss current tourism issues pertaining to the rapid changes in tourism markets, and tourism types. It provides insights into the new trends of tourism in local, regional and international tourism industry activities. Thus, this course serves as a forum for the discussion of issues on: tourism policy, planning and development; destination attractions and marketing, the role of the tourist, the tourism manager, and the host community; and factors that influence future trend. Global tourism is a dynamic phenomenon, influenced by global events and tourism demand, thus the topics covered in this course may change according to current events or issues.
