Students will also be informed with tool and equipment handling and applying principles of food preparation to produce varieties of food products. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate entry-level skills in a quality food service operation.

This course will explain the various concepts of strategic analysis, choices and planning that could be used in a hospitality business. In order to enhance student knowledge, students will be required to analyze relevant cases pertaining operations and management strategies in the hospitality industry. Class discussions focus on case studies related to tourism and hospitality industry.
