This course discusses issues related to teachers competency which comprises attitude, behavior and outlook which uphold the teaching profession. Issues regarding teaching profession, teachers code of ethics, Standard Kualiti Pendidikan Malaysia Gelombang 2 (SKPMg2), and teachers responsibility towards their career will also be discussed. This course will also focus on basic details which bind teachers to their profession such as law and education regulations and regulations as public servants. Several public servants disciplinary cases and teachers negligence in doing their jobs will also be discussed. In addition, issues such as challenges and demands towards the teaching profession at present and in the future will also be emphasized.
