The course identifies selected issues pertaining to factors affecting modern contract law. The selected areas of study include: different approaches to analyzing contract, issues on contractual unfairness, the use of standard form contracts and exemption clause, formation of contracts on internet and consumer protection. The course involves an analysis of the principles of contract law and their application at a wider context and greater depth than in a first-degree course. This course covers both the academic interest and practical implications as it seeks to equip students with judicious balance between theory and practice
