This course introduces students to the modelling of three-dimensional (3D). It encompasses 3D modelling techniques using Constructive Solid Geometry, Parametric Modelling and Freeform Modelling. The students will be clarified with the basics of 3D modelling as an introduction to 3D modelling and user co-ordinate system (UCS) before the introduction of the three techniques of 3D modelling. 3D modelling applications in field such as Computer Aided design and manufacturing CAD/CAM.
