This course provides an introduction to important aspects of the production and management of livestock and its role in the agricultural sector. The course will also include an introduction to the species of livestock diseases and the benefits gain from involvement in livestock activity. In addition, the management of ruminant livestock (cattle, twins, buffalo, deer) and non-ruminants (poultry, pigs) will discussed in general.
