This course introduces the basic concepts, terminologies, principles and methods of cost and management accounting at operational level. It includes the introduction of cost elements, the basic cost accumulation techniques and the various costing approaches. The course also introduces the concepts of cost behaviour, budgeting, analysis of variances and analysis of cost-volume-profit.
