FA221 GHZT3133 KUMP G EVENT ADMINISTRATION AND COORDINATION

This course discusses the first domain in Event Management Body of Knowledge (EMBOK). It is aimed to provide students with knowledge concerning the concepts, theories, principles and issues related to Administration domain. Students will be exposed to the proper allocation, direction and resources needed in an event project as well as how to acquire and allocate resources effectively to ensure a successful event project. During the course, student will be introduced to the different resources that are required for an event project such as finance, human resources, information, technology, time and most importantly how to procure all these resources. At the end, students will be tasked with delivering an actual event using all knowledge and skills learned in this course.
