This course is designed to provide students with knowledge about the importance of research in tourism and hospitality. Throughout this course, students will have the opportunity to identify the scope of the research areas and empirical research methods used in tourism and hospitality research. The contents to be focused in this course are on the research process such as identifying the research problem, develop the research design, implement the research design, data analysis by utilizing SPSS, and report the findings. The students also will be exposed to the writing of research proposal and report.
