This course aims to expose the hospitality and tourism students to the concepts, issues and application of laws related to hospitality and tourism businesses. The discussion of the basic of hospitality, travel, tourism and food services are to remind the students, as practitioners, of their legal rights and responsibilities. The topics of discussions may include contract, agency, tort, occupancy and health, employer-employee relationship, modes of carriers, negligence, innkeepers responsibilities, insurance, real estate, and licensing requirement.
