FA221 GHZM3093 KUMP G TOUR OPERATION MANAGEMENT

This course is aimed to provide students with knowledge and skills concerning the basic concepts, theories, principles, values and issues related to the business of tour operation. Students are exposed to the structure and organizations in the tourism industry, and the roles of these organisations. They are required to have an understanding of holiday market, marketing principles and the stages of planning and development of package holidays. This course focuses on the practical knowledge in package development as well as instilling values of social responsibility and ethical business conduct.
