This course is aimed to provide students with knowledge concerning the basic concepts, theories, principles, values and issues related to event management. It is designed to cover the development and significance of the event industry as well as the structure and organization of the events. During the course students will be required to develop insights into special events. This requires an understanding of theories and principles of planning and development including marketing of the events. The students are also exposed to the planning and organizing of the event.
