This course aims to expose the students to the process of agricultural development and changes from traditional to commercial agriculture within the context of an industrializing economy. In general, the objective of this course is to appreciate the role of agriculture in the various economy. Lastly, this course provide framework to understand and analyse the public policies applied to agriculture sector.
