A221 BIFS2053 KUMP B CREDIT ANALYSIS AND FINANCING

This course explains the theories and practices of the management of Islamic financing. In this course, students will be guided to explore the main concepts underpinning both Islamic and conventional system. This course also emphasises on the rules of financing practices, the process of financing, the evaluation techniques and the financing practices in the Islamic financial institutions (IFIs). Students are also exposed to the quantitative aspects, including the financial aspects of financing. Students will acquire better perspectives of financing risk, as this course will cover credit risk, operational risk and liquidity risk. In this course, students also will be equipped with the current issues pertaining to Islamic financing management.
