This course will discuss the concept and theory of Islamic economics. In particular, students will be introduced to the principles of Islamic economics, economic thoughts in Islam, and a comparative analysis between Islamic economics and other economic systems. This course also enumerates some current issues and challenges facing the Islamic economics system today.
