This course explains the concepts and operational aspects of Islamic financial system which covers instruments, institutions and markets. Students will be exposed to financial instruments in Islamic money market, capital market and derivative market along with their related institutions such as Islamic banks, takaful companies and others. Several issues and challenges in Islamic financial system and conventional counterparts will also be highlighted.
