This course is designed by the lecturers to introduce the economics structure, features, issues and key policies of Malaysia to the students. The discussions cover the historical development of the Malaysian economy before and after independence, macroeconomic issues such as growth, unemployment, inflation and balance of payments. In addition, economic policies, planning and economic development will also be discussed.
