This course introduces basic concepts, theories and practices of health economics to the students. The focus is on the theoretical framework which explaining how the economics resources are allocated into health sector. Topics including: basic economics analysis tools, demand and supply, insurance and industrial organisation of health care, technology, social insurance, labour and training and finally, control and competition.
