The course focuses on the concepts and principles of performance improvement, human performance technology models, training needs assessment, and knowledge management as well as evaluation. This course introduces and applies the literature, tools, and techniques of human performance technology. The performance technologist analyzes and solves human productivity and efficiency problems in the workplace. Students will examine major models of performance improvement, and adapt as well as apply them to simulated corporate productivity challenges, and to real opportunities in their own work experience.
